Stories Of People Of Agra - Nidhi Gill

Stories Of People Of Agra - Nidhi Gill
During my job I was not satisfied. Something was missing inside me. I always wanted to do something in the sake of society. So decided to teach  those children who have never been to school or unable to go due to financial reasons. Although this was not an easy step .As I was not financially strong but we al know where there is a will, there is a way.  I quit my job and started to live my dream with such kids First I started it with four kids who used to live in Noida.
Those four children were leaving their home town due to financial issues but I supported them and my friends also came forward in this work. With the help of my friends I got them admitted in a school.  From there I had decided that money will not the reason to leave the studies in between.I will support with my efforts to those children who did not even see the appearance of school but want to do something in life.
I started my NGO Anant Welfare Society. During this period I saw a child near my house who always used to play in the garbage and but have extra talented mind. I decided to get him admitted in a school and I with the help of my friends. He proved himself after getting 90 + marks in a reputed school of Agra.Even the teacher of that school was shocked how a child who had never been to school can get such marks? This is nothing more than a miracle for me too. That was the moment which encouraged me a lot.
After that I started to find 3-4 kids every year to got admitted in reputed schools of Agra. So that they can live their dreams. Money should not be an obstacle.  Even I am living my dream with these kids. May be without a good job I can't live luxurious life but a satisfactory life is always with me. My friends are supporting me continuosly in this effort. Hope these children could fulfill their dreams with us.

Stories Of People Of Agra ; Syed Faiz Ali Shah

Syed Faiz Ali Shah, the 40th descendant of Hazrat Muhammad ( PBHM) .  He has substantially followed the legacy of his ancestors in carrying forward the essence of sufism. Sufism is as old as several other diverse cultures prevalent in the City Of Taj - Agra. It is an ancient culture that is still followed by religious people with devotion. He told us the articulate insight of sufism, the core of which is Tasawwuf - "raah jo apne sudhar aur adhyatm ki taraf le jaye" meaning "a path that leads to our betterment". He then narrated about the durgah of Hazrat Amjad Ali Shah Azhar Akbarabadi and Maikash Akbarabadi (1902-1993). This durgah is popularly known as: Dargah Panja Madrsa .  Syed Muhammad Ali Shah 'Maikash' Qadri Niazi was a scholar of Arabic, Pershian and Urdu.
