Stories of people of Agra

conducted by Agra Aur Hum .

Today, let us tell you all the story of A Mango Traveler who is a self-taught photographer and loves to read, write, and travel.

Meet Piyush Sachdeva.

A Vibrant fellow who's camera story started in the late 80s. While recalling the incident, how he begins his hobby of photography, we noted how his eyes were shining like he is watching a film again.

He was just seven when his family took him to nearby Bharatpur bird sanctuary. As a child, his eyes got fixed on a bluebird (later, he got to know that it was a Kingfisher). He asked for the camera (yashica) that his father was carrying. Of course, his father refused. But, a fire lit him.

Soon, he became the official photographer of his family.

In 2006, he was gifted a digital camera by her aunt, and according to him, his journey somehow commenced. In 2011, he finally bought a DSLR camera. From then, he did not look back. He had won competitions & recognized by fellow artists. Today, a proud member, admin of the Photographers club of Agra that was started by Harvijay Singh Bahia and Sahil fauzdar. He calls both of them as his mentor.

He started travelling around India from 2014 onwards and has a lot of interest in visiting the off-beats location. His traveling made him into a blogger and later into a vlogger.

According to him, there is so much to learn in this life. And traveling helped in being a better version of him. So far, his memorable trip was the Mount Everest base camp trek that he did in 2019.

On asking what he loves to Photograph, he said, "everything! I did not bound myself to one genre. However, I love to capture the streets. That is where I record life around me. My every click is nothing by a mirror of myself."

Syed Faiz Ali Shah, the 40th descendant of Hazrat Muhammad ( PBHM) .  He has substantially followed the legacy of his ancestors in carrying forward the essence of sufism. He told us the articulate insight of sufism, the core of which is Tasawwuf - "raah jo apne sudhar aur adhyatm ki taraf le jaye" meaning "a path that leads to our betterment". He then narrated about the durgah of Hazrat Amjad Ali Shah Azhar Akbarabadi and Maikash Akbarabadi (1902-1993).
