Today, I'll share the story of  a nature enthusiast and wildlife photographer Dheeraj Katara.He is full of energy and enthusiasm .

Dheeraj developed passion for nature when he was working in Raipur after completing his post graduation in Biotechnolgy from Gwalior .He started going out in the wilderness with his friends .He met with the people who had keen interest in birding and in wildlife .


Dheeraj started participating regularly in bird-watching and wildlife excursions .Slowly ,he got interested in capturing birds and other wildlife in his  camera and developed skills in wildlife photography .

Dheeraj Katara belongs to Agra .On his return from Raipur to Agra  Dheeraj started looking around from nature's perspective: the Yamuna and its banks, the forested area of Jalma Institute and the Taj Nature Walk  .Dheeraj thought that he should start similar kind of activities in Agra to encourage people to explore the beauty of nature .

Dheeraj started organizing birdwatching and wildlife photography events .There are a number of wildlife photographers in Agra ,Dheeraj gave a new dimension in the field of wildlife photography  by bringing them all together.Dheeraj and his teammates work relentlessly in organizing birdwatching  and wildlife trips to unexplored areas in and around Agra .



In a short span of 4 years ,Dheeraj  has conducted dozens of Wildlife Photography Competitions , nature walks for children to make children aware about flora & fauna  and cleaning  of  the banks of the Yamuna campaigns in collaboration with Forest Deptt. 

Dheeraj has successfully organized several photography workshops in collaboration with Canon,Sony and Nikon.

On his journey to discover nature he has met a number of like-minded people like Mr.Anzaar Nabi,Mr.Abhitanshu Soni, Mr.Ankush Dave , Mr.Gopal Singh and Dr.Mukul Pandya.  "I owe a lot  to them for their unconditional  and unlimited support " says Dheeraj Katara.

 S.P.A.  ( stories of people of agra )  Conducted by Agra aur hum . And the winner for MarsShot campaign 2020 is Dolly Aswani.  She is a social activist and the winner of the prestigious Marsshot campaign. She works in vivid fields of society across a plethora of sections ranging from women empowerment, sexual abuse awareness, menstrual hygiene, she has got it all covered. Her gunshot for this race against social ills was sounded at Banasthali University where she started working for the Women Empowerment Cell of her college After completing her  B. Tech from the university she chose the most obvious path for any engineer of not doing engineering 😉, rather joining a Delhi based NGO as it's Operational manager, working her way across various organizations and schools she has constantly been at her toes to get things going for the society. Stories Of People Of Agra ; Syed Faiz Ali Shah

Syed Faiz Ali Shah, the 40th descendant of Hazrat Muhammad ( PBHM) .  He has substantially followed the legacy of his ancestors in carrying forward the essence of sufism. Sufism is as old as several other diverse cultures prevalent in the City Of Taj - Agra. It is an ancient culture that is still followed by religious people with devotion. He told us the articulate insight of sufism, the core of which is Tasawwuf - "raah jo apne sudhar aur adhyatm ki taraf le jaye" meaning "a path that leads to our betterment". He then narrated about the durgah of Hazrat Amjad Ali Shah Azhar Akbarabadi and Maikash Akbarabadi (1902-1993). This durgah is popularly known as: Dargah Panja Madrsa .  Syed Muhammad Ali Shah 'Maikash' Qadri Niazi was a scholar of Arabic, Pershian and Urdu.
