Stories Of People OF Agra - Bhavna Kuntal

S.P.A.

Stories of people of Agra,  conducted by Agra Aur Hum .

The first thing you observe about her is her smile but when you start talking with her you would realize she is much more than a pretty face!

Introducing Bhavana Kuntal to you all.
She is a learner, teacher, social worker, traveller, google local guide, photographer, poet and what not!

After completing her bachelor's in education, she taught in an activity-based learning school as a Learning Facilitator which is a fancy word used for a teacher.
With the encouragement of her friend Aditi Bapte, she became the part of the core team which established the Agra chapter of Feeding India. She volunteered as an F&B head in the team and helped in organizing many events for the NGO in Agra.

She was even awarded as the Hunger Hero of the month title in February 2018. Her passion for the upliftment of the society made her a part of many initiatives.
She has always been very vocal about gender issues and has been a part of 'Sayani' initiative which was focussed on creating Menstrual Hygiene awareness in an orphanage.

She has also been a part of a workshop on 'Gender Equality and Food Nutrition Security' organized by 'National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development.'

She is an avid reader and a poet. She believes the more you read the better you write! She writes using her pen name 'unapologetically_headstrong' which she believes denotes her stubborn persona. But then no one can achieve anything without being headstrong!

She gives credit of her strong willed personality to her parents who supported her in all her life decisions and let her grow in her own pace.

She is an autoimmune disease warrior and wants to create awareness regarding the same. She believes that no matter what the life brings on the table you got to eat it and be thankful and fight for not getting started!

He told us the articulate insight of sufism, the core of which is Tasawwuf - "raah jo apne sudhar aur adhyatm ki taraf le jaye" meaning "a path that leads to our betterment". He then narrated about the durgah of Hazrat Amjad Ali Shah Azhar Akbarabadi and Maikash Akbarabadi (1902-1993). This durgah is popularly known as: Dargah Panja Madrsa .  Syed Muhammad Ali Shah 'Maikash' Qadri Niazi was a scholar of Arabic, Pershian and Urdu.
