Stories Of People Of Agra - Prachi Verma

 S.P.A.

Stories Of People Of Agra, Conducted by Agra Aur Hum.

Prachi Verma is a dancer & a Youtuber from Agra.
Prachi has 7600+ subscribers and 1.4 million + views with 60+ videos on her channel.

She did her schooling from St. Francis’ Convent School, Agra. Now, she is pursuing B.Tech. in computer science from KIET Group Of Institutions, Ghaziabad.

Prachi has been dancing since she was a kid of 4 years.

She never got any professional training in any dance form but just kept on participating in every school function, celebration and competition which gradually increased her love for dancing, specifically in the Indian classical dance form.

In class 6, she started taking classes for Bharatnatyam dance form but unfortunately got diagnosed with malaria within just 2 weeks of the training, hence she had to discontinue the dance classes. In the following years, she couldn’t continue with the training as studies got prioritized over dance.

In class 11 & 12, the studies were really stressing, so as a relaxation therapy Prachi used to dance to give herself a break from studies.
One day, while she was in class 12  she made a short dance video with her friend & her father suggested her to make a YouTube channel & upload that video on it.

So, just for fun, Prachi made her YouTube Channel in May 2018. Initially, she wasn’t sure if the channel would work or if the videos would get good views. But, she kept on experimenting with her videos and kept on uploading as many videos as she could.  She posted a number of dance videos initially and some of them got her lakhs of views! When she moved to Ghaziabad for her graduation she couldn’t post videos much often.

But taking the advantage of lockdown, she has posted 20+ videos on her YouTube channel in the past 5 months. Interestingly, she has started posting videos apart from dancing as well which includes fashion & styling, fun challenges, workout & yoga and also small skit videos. From scripting or choreographing to editing the whole video, she does it all by herself.

She has learnt a lot in these two years of being on YouTube. Her parents and some of her friends kept on motivating her throughout this journey of YouTube. She has started getting a lot of compliments and appreciation for all the efforts she has been putting so far which has become the real source of motivation for her.

" As a content creator, she wishes to continue working                           hard on YouTube and hopes to take her channel to                               established heights."

Stories Of People Of Agra ; Syed Faiz Ali Shah

Syed Faiz Ali Shah, the 40th descendant of Hazrat Muhammad ( PBHM) .  He has substantially followed the legacy of his ancestors in carrying forward the essence of sufism. Sufism is as old as several other diverse cultures prevalent in the City Of Taj - Agra. It is an ancient culture that is still followed by religious people with devotion. He told us the articulate insight of sufism, the core of which is Tasawwuf - "raah jo apne sudhar aur adhyatm ki taraf le jaye" meaning "a path that leads to our betterment". He then narrated about the durgah of Hazrat Amjad Ali Shah Azhar Akbarabadi and Maikash Akbarabadi (1902-1993). This durgah is popularly known as: Dargah Panja Madrsa .  Syed Muhammad Ali Shah 'Maikash' Qadri Niazi was a scholar of Arabic, Pershian and Urdu. He was a mystic scion of a well-known Sufi house and a distinguised poet.  Some of his ethereal pieces are mentioned-below: *Aa Aashiqon men beth fana aashiqon se seekh.* *yeh husn khu...
